You are going to love how simple this Gift Card Pocket Card is to make.
You can use any double-sided Designer Series Paper, coordinating cardstock colors and an embellished image for the front of your card.
I had fun making cards with supplies in the Joy of Sharing Card Kit. The beautiful die-cut images in the kit are perfect for making quick & beautiful projects.
I also used the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper which coordinates very well with the die-cut images in the kit.
Materials & Measurements:
- Designer Series Paper (double-sided): 3″ x 10″ scored at 4-1/4″ & 8″
- Main Cardbase Color Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Coordinating Cardstock Color: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
- Very Vanilla or Whisper White Cardstock: 3-3/4″ x 5″(for inside sentiment)
- Coordinating Embellished Image for Card Front: Prepare an image of your choice which coordinates with the cardstock colors and designer paper you selected. Image can be as simple or as detailed as you would like.
Supplies/Tools/Adhesives:
- Simply Scored Scoring Tool OR Trimmer with scoring blade, Stampin’ Seal, Tear & Tape Adhesive, Dimensionals
Instructions:
Step 1 – Card Base is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored/folded at 4-1/4”.
Step 2 – Adhere 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ coordinating card stock to center of card front.
Step 3 – Adhere right panel of scored Designer Series Paper to coordinating cardstock with 4-1/4″ score line on right side of card front.
Step 4 – Fold Designer Series Paper around card front to inside panel of cardbase. Apply adhesive to 8″ score line of Designer Series Paper, then adhere down.
Step 5 – Fold 8” score line of Designer Series Paper to create a pocket, use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere sides of pocket together.
Step 6 – Embellish outside & inside of card as desired.
