If you’ve been following my blog or YouTube channel you have noticed I love using Designer Paper for my projects… especially beautiful floral prints!!!
The Bested Dressed Designer Series Paper in the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog has beautiful floral designs that are perfect for all your projects!
The papers are so beautiful you don’t want to cover them… let them be the focal point of your project!
Today’s card is one I made for a Leadership swap in January.
I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to add a decorative layer to the card.
For this card I used one 4″ x 5-1/4″ Melon Mambo cardstock to create all the Melon Mambo layers including the embellishments for the inside & outside of the card.
Supplies:
Measurements:
1 – Center largest Stitched So Sweetly Rectangle Die on 4″ x 5-1/4″ Melon Mambo Cardstock with smallest die inside (towards bottom). Run through Die Cutting Machine.
2 – Cut Label Me Lovely image from largest Scalloped Rectangle using Label Me Lovely Punch.
3 – Texture frame piece using Subtle Embossing Folder, then adhere to 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock. Fold 3-1/8″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock on 4-1/4″ score line and adhere to center of card front (over frame piece).
4 – Adhere 2-5/8″ x 3-3/4″ Designer Paper to largest Rectangle image, then adhere to card front.
5 – Stamp outside sentiment on 1-3/8″ wide scrap cardstock using Melon Mambo ink. Cut using Classic Label Punch then adhere to smallest Scalloped Rectangle die image using Mini Glue Dots, then attach to cardfront with Dimensionals. Tie bow with 1/4″ Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding and adhere to card front with Mini Glue Dot.
6 – Stamp inside sentiment on Whisper White scrap cardstock and cut using Pretty Label Punch. Adhere to Melon Mambo Label Me Lovely image then adhere to inside of card.

I enjoyed your fun told video. I am an Independent Demonstrator from Stampin Up and am glad I found your website. I’ve only been a demonstrator for 14 months. But this month I fell a crushed my arduous bone in my wrist. With help from my friends I will only have missed one class that was scheduled for the week that I broke my wrist
Please excuse my texting but it isn’t up to par
These are just stunning. I LOVE the tips on how to use the cardstock to get your smaller layers without having to use a new piece. I want to make one of these. I LOVE that DSP!
I am a new subscriber. I love this card. You make it look so easy with your video. Thank you so much.
