In this blog post and video tutorial (see link below) I’m sharing three cards created with the Painted Lavender Bundle and Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.

‘Inking of You’ Card Sketch #025 was my inspiration for these cards.
*’Inking of You’ is my Stampin’ Up! team name. We use card sketches for a variety of creative team events.
Card sketches are great inspiration for creating greeting cards.
‘Inking of You’ Card Sketch Tips:
- Cardbase can be 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored/folded at 4-1/4″ or 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored/folded at 5-1/2″
- Decorative image can be any size or shape
- Layers can be designer paper or cardstock (stamped or textured with embossing folder)
- Add as many layers as desired
- Adhere layers & images with adhesive &/or Dimensionals
- Optional ribbon/trim can be tied into bow or knot
Card #1 – Stamps, Paper & Ink
Card #2 – Stamps, Paper, Ink & Punches
Card #3 – Stamps, Paper, Ink and Cut & Emboss tools
Sample Measurements:
Layer 1 (Cardbase Designer Paper Layer): 4″ x 5-1/4“
Layer 2 Designer Paper: 1-3/4″ x 5″
Layer 2 Cardstock: 1-7/8″ x 5-1/16″
Layer 3 Basic White: 2-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
Layer 3 Cardstock: 2-1/4″ x 4″
Basic White (for inside sentiments): 3″ x 4-1/4″
To get the multiple colors on the floral stamps I used a pencil eraser to remove ink from stamp and to add ink to stamp image.
