Snow Is Glistening Swap Card

www.CreateWithTerriGaines.comI just returned home from a Stampin’ Up! event in Orlando to temps in the lower 20s and a little snow!  But that’s okay with me… I love the snow as long as I don’t have to drive in it during rush hour traffic… or shovel it off my roof!!!

One of my swap cards at the Stampin’ Up! event was a card using some of the product from the Snowflake Showcase Suite.

The Snowflake Showcase Suite has amazing exclusive products available until November 30th or while supplies last.  Click here for Stampin’ Up! flyer.

My favorite product is this suite is the Snowfall Thinlets.  You get 20 dies; 10 of them are beautiful snowflake Thinlets, 3 Framelits to cut out snowflake stamp images from the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set, 3 Framelits to cut out floral images from the Happiness Surrounds Stamp Set (note one of the Framelits was used to cut a snowflake) and 5 Thinlets which coordinate with the Happiness Surrounds Stamp Set.

The dies coordinate with two stamp sets; Snow is Glistening & Happiness Surrounds.  Both have images and sentiments that are very versatile.

Instructions:

  1. Tear 2-1/2″ x 3-3/4″ Crumb Cake cardstock along 3-3/4″ sides on both ends.  Run through Big Shot using Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Mix rubbing alcohol & 3 to 5 drops of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint into Stampin’ Spritzer.  Shake and spritz over corrugated cardstock to add sparkle.  Set aside to dry.

  2. Stamp Snowflakes colleague using Crumb Cake Ink on both ends of  3-3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White cardstock, then run through the Big Shot using Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Adhere corrugated cardstock between Snowflakes. Adhere to 4″ x 5-1/4″ Crumb Cake cardstock, then to Whisper White card front.

  4. Stamp inside of card with images and sentiment.

*When making multiple cards or trying to line up images the Stamparatus works great!  For my swap cards I used the Stamparatus and new Small Grid Paper to stamp the cards.  In the next few days I’ll post a video showing how I used the Stamparatus to stamp this card.
