I also used the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper on the cards (see bottom of this blog post for list of supplies used on the cards).
The Boughs of Holly 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper is so beautiful with a poinsettia, holly, and evergreen motifs. It also includes a more neutral birch tree bark pattern and several designs perfect for nature cards.
- 12 sheets of patterned paper: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
- 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)
- Acid free
- Lignin free
Product colors: Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Sahara Sand, Shaded Spruce, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede
For the card layouts I used card sketches created for my ‘Inking of You’ team weekly card sketch flyers. Card sketches are great inspiration for creating greeting cards.
Card Sketch Details and Assembly Tips:
- Cardbase can be 5-1/2” x 8-1/2 scored/folded at 4-1/4” or 4-1/4” x 11” scored/folded at 5-1/2”
- Decorative Image can be any size or shape
- Layers can be designer paper or cardstock (stamped or textured with embossing folder)
- Add as many layers as desired
- Adhere layers & images with adhesive &/or Dimensionals
- Optional Ribbon/Trim can be tied into bow or knot
