Today’s card is one of the technique cards I shared with customers at my January Technique clubs.
I found a technique card online called Flying Easel Card which has an image dangling with fishing line in the opening. I used a strip of clear window sheet instead and called this technique Floating Easel Card. This is a fun card to make.
I used Stampin’ Up!’s new Crackle Paint Background Stamp, the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and the Butterfly Duet Punch for this card.
Unfortunately at the time of this post the Butterfly Duet Punch is not order-able. Current availability date is April 1st.
I’m excited to share the supplies, instructions and a video with assembly tips so you can create this card with me!

Great technique! Can’t wait to try it.
This is just amazing. What a beautiful card! I saw it on the demo planning place. Thanks for making a video. You can’t even see the window sheet holding the butterfly in place. I can’t wait to try this technique!
Love this card. I would like to do it in my stamp camp in March. Thanks for sharing Terri.
Beautiful card! Thank you so much for your “hints” throughout the video, much appreciated and saves frustration!
