Fun Fold Buckle Card made with Tree Ring Background & Let It Ride Stamp Set

Today’s card is a fun fold buckle card using a tree image from the Let It Ride stamp set.  The ‘For You’ is from this set also.

It’s a fun card to make… this card is one of my swap card for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage event this weekend

 

Supplies:

♥ Stamp Set:  Let It Ride (148765- cling), Tree Ring Background (143755 – wood, 144772 – clear)
♥ Ink Pad: Soft Suede (147115)
♥ Cardstock / Paper: Soft Suede (115318), Very Vanilla (101650)
Tools / Misc: Classic Label Punch (141491), Crumb Cake 3/8″ Classic Woven Ribbon (144179), 1-1/4 Circle Punch (119861), 1-1/2 Circle Punch (138299), Big Shot (143263), Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (143706), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), SNAIL (104332), Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683)
 
Measurements: 
♥  Soft Suede Cardstock: 4-1/4 x 8-5/8 scored at 5-1/2, 4 x 5-1/4
♥  Crumb Cake Cardstock: 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 with 1-1/2 circle punched from center
♥  Very Vanilla Cardstock: 2 x 7 scored at 3-1/2, scraps for sentiment cut with 1-1/4 circle punch
♥  Ribbon: 5″

Instructions:

  1. Fold 4-1/4 x 8-5/8 cardbase on 5-1/2 score line. Stamp small panel (4-1/ x 3-1/8) using Soft Suede ink and Tree Ring Background stamp. www.CreateWithTerriGaines.comThen place Classic Label Punch upside down over panel reaching in as far as punch will go.  Center punch on panel then punch (only punch one time).
  2. Run 4 x 5-1/4 Soft Suede Cardstock through Big Shot using Subtle  Embossing Folder then adhere to Soft Suede cardbase (4-1/4 x 5-1/2  panel).
  3. Fold 3 x 7 Very Vanilla Cardstock at 3-1/2 score line. With fold on right side stamp tree images on front panel using Soft Suede ink.  Adhere to 2-1/4 x 3-3/4 Crumb Cake cardstock (with 1-1/2 circle punched from center), then adhere to center of card base. Open top panel of card (Very Vanilla card), close left pawww.CreateWithTerriGaines.comnel of Soft Sued Card (panel with Tree Rings stamped), then close Very Vanilla card & insert end into opening created by Classic Label Punch.www.CreateWithTerriGaines.com
  4. Stamp ‘For You’ image on Very Vanilla scrap cardstock then punch with 1-1/4 Circle Punch. Adhere to 1-1/2 circle punched from Soft Suede scrap cardstock.  Attach to card front with dimensionals. www.CreateWithTerriGaines.comTip: Place two dimensionals on left panel (Soft Suede with stamped Tree Rings ) one on left side of Classic Label opening, towards bottom of opening, and the other just below the Classic Label  opening.
