Fun Fold Card made with Ornate Garden Designer Paper

I love this colorful floral print from the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper! It’s a perfect print for this fun fold card which uses a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of designer paper and the Ornate Layers Dies.

Supplies:

♥ Stamp Set: Ornate Thanks (149471 – photopolymer)

♥ Ink: Old Olive (147090)

♥ Cardstock: Old Olive (100702), Soft Suede (115318), Whisper White (100730)

♥ Paper: Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Paper (152488)

♥ Ribbon: Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack (152479)

♥ Tools / Misc: Ornate Layers Dies (152726), Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), Stamparatus (146276), Paper Trimmer (152392), SNAIL (104332), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Paper Snips (103579)

Measurements:

♥ Old Olive Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4”, 2-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ for Ornate Die
♥ Soft Suede Cardstock: 3-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
♥ Whisper White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″, 3-3/4″ x 5″, 3″ x 4″ (for rectangle die & template)
♥ Designer Paper: 3″ x 5-1/4″
♥ Ribbon: 10″

Instructions:

1. Cut left portion of Ornate Frame from 2-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ Old Olive Cardstock using Ornate Layers Dies. Using Simply Scored Scoring Tool score at 3″ from left side.

2 – Cut 3″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock with Stitched Rectangle Die, then stamp outside sentiment image using Old Olive ink & Stamparatus. Adhere to left section of Old Olive Ornate Frame (from step 1).

Tip: (click here) for video showing details on how I used the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment… fast forward to 5 minutes 22 seconds

Note: If you are not using Stamparatus, stamp image first then cut with Stitched Rectangle Die.

3. Adhere 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White Cardstock to 4-1/8″ x 5-3-8 Soft Suede Cardstock, then adhere right panel of Old Olive Ornate Frame (from step 1) to back side (towards bottom). Adhere to inside panel of Old Olive cardbase (5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″ Old Olive cardstock folded on 4-1/4″ score line).

4. Adhere 3″ x 5-1/4″ designer paper to 3-1/8″ x 5-3-8 Soft Suede Cardstock, then adhere to outside panel of Old Olive cardstock.

5. Tie bow (click here for video showing how I tie bows) then attach to card front with Mini Glue Dot.
