Fun Fold Cards using ‘Create With Terri Card Kit’ Packet

Today I’m sharing 12 Simple Fun Fold Cards made using my July 2019 ‘Create with Terri Card Kit‘ packet featuring the new Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper… plus 12 simple ‘stepped-up’ cards.

Each month the Card Kit Packet will contain different Designer Series Papers and coordinating Cardstock.

The July 2019 ‘Create With Terri’ Card Kit Packet contains six – 4′ x 6″ Designer Series Papers (one of each Perennial Essence design), twelve – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ coordinating color cardstock (4 – Blackberry Bliss, 2 – Blueberry Bushel, 2 – Crushed Curry, 2 – Mossy Meadow & 2 – Petal Pink) and four – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock.

The packet includes card layout options to create 12 cards using the materials in the packet and your own supplies; stamps, inks and tools (cutter, punches, dies, etc.).

Please Note: My card samples and the card layout options are suggested ways to use the materials in the ‘Create With Terri’ Card Kit Packet. You can use the materials to create fun fold cards, or cards with extra layering along with many other options. Have fun and be creative with the kit ♥

Supplies I used to make the 12 Fun fold Cards are the same supplies I used for the July 1st Cards:

♥ Stamps: Here’s A Card (149438 -cling)

♥ Ink Pad: Basic Gray (149165)

♥ Tools / Misc: Everyday Label Punch (144668), Bone Folder (102300), SNAIL (104332), Dimensionals (104430), Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334), Clear Block A (118487), Clear Block B (117147), Clear Block C (118486),Clear Block G (118489), Clear Block H (118490)

Measurements:

♥ Cut 4 x 6 designer papers to 2-1/2 x 4 (cut two per 4 x 6 piece)

♥ Cut one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cardstock in half to create two 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card bases.

♥ Score one 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Cardstock at 4-1/4 then cut in half to create two 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 card bases (scored at 4-1/4).

♥ Cutting dimensions for one 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock (for outside sentiments):

♥ Both 1-3/4″ and 1″ strips were cut using the Everyday Label Punch

♥ Cutting dimensions for three 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ Whisper White Cardstock (for inside sentiments):

Assembly Instructions:

1. Adhere folded 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 to left side of 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 cardbase.

2. Adhere designer Paper to front fold, stamp inside sentiment on 2-1/2 x 4 Whisper White cardstock then adhere to inside.

3. Using dimensionals adhere outside sentiment (cut with punch) to front folded panel.

12 Simple ‘Stepped-Up’ Card made with a few additional supplies…

I ‘Stepped-Up’ the same card layouts by adding texture with the Subtles 3D Embossing folder to a 4″ x 5-1/4 Whisper White cardstock adhered to the card base. Wrapped Silver 3/8″ Metallic-Edged Ribbon around top panel and layered outside sentiments with Silver Foil Sheets cut with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.

Additional supplies needed:

♥ Cardstock / Paper: Whisper White (100730), Silver Foil sheets (132178)

♥ Ribbon: Silver 3/8″ Metallic-Edged Ribbon (144213)

♥ Tools: Delightful Tag Topper Punch (149518), Subtles 3D Embossing folder (151775)

The mat for the Everyday Label Punch images are made with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch.

To mat the 1″ strips cut with the Everyday Label Punch: Cut Silver Foil to 1-3/8″ x 2-7/8″. Place each end into the Delightful Tag Topper Punch – turn punch over to center foil sheet before you punch.
