Last Thursday I planned to post this cute snowman tag card I made for a Stamp Share for Leaders swap using new Holiday Catalog Products. As I was pulling together the supply list I realized I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder which is retired product… that was a BIG mistake as we have a rule for the swap that NO retired product is to be used.
I could not believe I did that… when I was designing the card I thought the Softly Falling Embossing folder would be perfect and it was in the basket with my current folders.
The first thing I did was apologize to the other Demonstrators in the swap and offer to mail them a new card base using the Subtle 3D Embossing folder. I also told them it’s pretty embarrassing when the organizer of the swap did not follow the rules…
The next thing I did was change my blog title to a “Throw-back Thursday (using retired products)” and I decided not to do a video for assembly tips for the card.
