The beautiful Designer Series Paper in the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley is perfect for Graduation Gift Card Holders.
For these Gift Card Holders I wanted to use the ‘Time to CELEBRATE’ portion of the sentiment. Instead of coloring with a Stampin’ Write Marker I decided to cut the sentiment stamp apart with my Paper Snips. I left notches on both ends so it is easy to put back into place when I want to use the original sentiment.
To add color to the Whisper White message cards (2-1/8′ x 6-3/4 scored at 3-3/8″) I filled a Stampin’ Spritzer 3/4 full of Rubbing Alcohol and added 5 drops of Rose Gold Shimmer Paint. Shake to mix.
- For message cards using Melon Mambo Cardstock I lightly spritzed the cardstock.
- For the message cards using Night of Navy Cardstock I added 5 drops of Night of Navy Ink Refill; shake to mix and lightly spritzed cardstock.
Let dry and stamp with sentiment.
Note: You will be able to spritz approximately 3 sheets (8-1/2 x 11) sheets of cardstock. To clean spritzer rinse with water and continue to spritz with fresh water until the spritzer is clean.
Supplies:
1. Punch each end of 2″ x 8-1/2″ cardstock with Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Fold in half at score line.
Tip: If you are making more than one gift card holder score 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock at 4-1/4″ before cutting 2″ strips.
2. Fold Designer Series Paper on score lines and apply adhesive to both ends on back side. Line bottom edge of designer series paper to be about 1/2″ above fold of cardstock. Center Designer Paper and wrap around adhering to cardstock.
3. Slide ribbon into openings made with Scallop Tag Topper Punch. Then insert stamped message card & gift card between cardstock and slide all the way to fold of cardstock.
4. Tie ends of ribbon together into knot to secure.
5. Embellish gift cards.
